Haley Follet is a board certified physician assistant who works in our Frisco office. She is also a dietitian and studied nutrition. Partnering with patients to help address their health concerns and promote wellness is her primary goal.
She was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After graduating from a performing arts high school, she attended Boston University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a Minor in Public Health. After college graduation, she stayed in Boston to earn her Masters in Clinical Nutrition at Tufts University. During that time, she also completed her Dietetics Internship and became a Registered Dietitian. While in Boston, she was actively involved in multiple organizations that served the homeless and medically underserved populations.
After completing her Masters degree in 2015, Haley moved back to Texas and accepted a position as a dietitian in Fort Worth. While she loved her work as a dietitian, she felt a longing to do more, which drove her to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. In 2020 she began the Masters in Physician Assistant Studies program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. During that time, she gained valuable experience working in a variety of different areas including internal medicine, rural medicine, and endocrinology. During PA school she was also inducted into Alpha Eta, the national honor society for the allied health professions.
She is most passionate about diabetes management, thyroid issues, heart disease, blood lipids, nutrition, exercise, weight loss, anxiety disorders, and the psychology for successful living with chronic disease.
Haley currently lives in Fort Worth with her husband and their two dachshund rescues. Outside of medicine she enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with her family.
It is part of our objective to give the highest standard of care to our patients and the communities we serve.
