Announcement: Important Update from IMAP Regarding Dr. Addington
Dear Patients,
After much consideration, Dr. Addington has decided to transition away from an in-office clinic setting, effective August 9th, 2024. This decision was not made lightly, and we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for allowing her to be a part of your healthcare journey.
We understand that this change may come as a surprise, and we want to assure you that your continued care is our utmost priority. Our practice, Internal Medicine Associates of Plano, Frisco, and Richardson (IMAP), is fortunate to have several skilled physicians who are ready and capable of taking over your treatment. You can choose to continue your care with any of these excellent professionals within our practice, including Dr. Trung Nguyen in our Richardson office (he also does tele-visits). Although Dr. Nguyen is not an endocrinologist but a family physician, he has been treating hormone-related conditions and providing bioidentical hormone treatments for many years. Additionally, IMAP is actively looking for another endocrinologist and may find one to replace Dr. Addington soon. All of our other doctors at IMAP treat thyroid and diabetes conditions and can help with PCOS and weight loss. Rest assured, they will have full access to your medical records and will work diligently to provide the same level of care and attention you have come to expect.
Starting August 19th, Dr. Addington will be joining an out-of-state, telemedicine-only online practice dedicated to treating women's health, specifically conditions such as PCOS, hypothyroidism, and insulin resistance. This new role will allow her to spend more time at home and pursue other activities.

We had to MOVE!
Do to events beyond our control we have to move to a new office in West Frisco. Our new office is at 255 W Lebanon Rd #208, Frisco. It is on FM 423 and Lebanon next to Walgreens. Our phone number is still the same.
