Dr. Swetha Kadali, MD - Board Certified Internal Medicine

Dr. Swetha Kadali is a dedicated internal medicine physician specializing in general internal medicine for adult patients and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Her primary office is conveniently located in our West Frisco family practice, situated on 423 and Lebanon. As a passionate primary care doctor, Dr. Kadali emphasizes the importance of preventative care and is committed to providing effective care for the sick and the elderly.

She strongly advocates for preventative medicine, believing that quality primary care is vital in managing chronic medical illnesses and preventing unnecessary complications.

Having lived in diverse locations including India, Oman, and the United States during her upbringing, Dr. Kadali has developed a deep appreciation for various cultures and customs. Her journey towards medicine began as a high school volunteer at a local hospital, where she cultivated her passion for the medical field and her desire to help people lead healthier lives.

Dr. Kadali completed her medical training at Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences in Telangana, India, followed by her Internal Medicine Residency at Coney Island Hospital in New York. Before her residency, she conducted research on rapid empiric treatment of influenza in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville. Training in a bustling New York City hospital exposed her to a culturally and socioeconomically diverse patient population, enhancing her ability to treat a wide range of both common and complex illnesses. This experience also underscored the value of cultural competence in creating personalized treatment plans for her patients. After completing her residency, she worked as a hospitalist at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, AR, before transitioning to her role as a primary care physician there.

Dr. Kadali recently relocated with her husband, also a physician in Frisco, and their daughter to be nearer to family. She is eager to begin her practice in Frisco, where she aims to forge strong, lasting relationships with her patients as their family doctor, guiding them on their journey to maintain good health.

In her leisure time, Dr. Kadali enjoys spending moments with her family, singing, engaging in cultural events, gardening, and cooking.
