Dr. Payberah’s medical journey began at the University of Ancona in Italy, where she earned her MD degree. She then completed her Residency in Family Medicine at the University of Illinois at Peoria. Her commitment to medical excellence and education led her to Dallas, where she served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. In addition to teaching future physicians, she demonstrated strong leadership by chairing the Department of Family Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano for several years.
An active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Texas Medical Association (TMA), Dr. Payberah stays at the forefront of medical advancements to ensure her patients receive the most current, evidence-based care available.
